Welcome to Ceramic Dojo, an intensive residency for serious potters in one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns. Here, we trade mass-classes for master-led intimacy. Through deep immersion in the artisan culture of Echizen, we provide the environment, the expertise, and the 800-year-old clay required to elevate your craft from advanced to extraordinary.

Located in Fukui Prefecture along the Sea of Japan, Echizen is proud to be one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. The gateway to this historic pottery village is "Echizen Takefu Station" on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line.
